The Aftermath

Today is March the 28th of 2008. The day after my birthday. This work of art has nothing to do with me in specific. I just wanted to a hear a "Happy Late Birthday" from my fellow arteests. Regardless, I have finally found something to contribute to the site. It's been far too long.

So, in case you were wondering, the creature depicted in the picture of a new character of mine. His name is Juba, and like Eiji, Alliz and Topo, is species can go by the name Juba. Atleast until I think of a legitamate name. He's not brand spanking new, he appears on a lot of my schoolwork. But he's "known" for his star role as the antagonist of Final Planet, a roleplaying group on myspace. The main jist of the story is survival of the fittest on Earth 1,000 years after the mysterious dissapearance of mankind.
But just to clarify, Juba doesn't always look this way. I just felt like chibifying him. But the picture is the only one showing the majority of Juba's body. All previous works were profile busts that never went further than his arms, earning te picture DA worthy.

Juba was based off of several modern day reptiles, specifically the Alligator Lizards, the Sungazer (Cordylus giganteaus?) and various snakes (primarily boas) with influences from crocodilians and the Chinese dragons.
